6th Annual
Youth Shines! Art Auction
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at the Boston Center of the Arts from 6pm-8pm

Silent & live auctions of art by children and teens to benefit their neighborhood’s Youth Workers’ Alliance.

Featuring both live and silent auctions of art donated by children 6 to 21 years, this fun event will be hosted by David Brown of WCVB‐TV.

Latin percussion band Kabluna will entertain the crowd, while they dine on delicious food from local caterers and restaurants. Local businesses and neighbors join with young people to support youth programs in the South End/Lower Roxbury community.

The Youth Shines! Art Auction enables everyone ‐ young artists, residents, youth workers, and local businesses ‐ to support their neighborhood together. The Youth Shines! Art Auction is presented with support from the Boston Center for the Arts, and two neighborhood Associations. Event sponsors include the Boston Redevelopment Authority and Citizen’s Bank.
