Boston public school students from around the city marched from the State House to a Boston School Committee meeting on Wednesday to protest proposed drastic budget cuts and school closings. After the protest, students responded to claims that their organizing was instigated and manipulated by adults with their own self-interests.

The event was organized by student activists with the Boston Youth Organizing Project, El Movimiento, and the Roxbury Environmental Empowerment Program.
