ILLUMINUS
LIVE performance, SAT Oct 25, 6:30p-2a, 500 Harrison Ave, SoWa
we deconstruct iconic sculptures to ask: Who are our guardians? How do we bring forth our othered identities? How can we practice radical love? What does all this mean for our communities NOW - globally and in Boston?
Our team of 15 regional artists includes artistic director Pampi thirdeyefell, producer Loreto P. Ansaldo, technical director david allen, puppeteer Dey Hernández-Vázquez of Papel Machete, video artist Rose Maison, sound engineer Jeremy Stewart, sound artist Sundog, and performance artists: Terina-Jasmine Alladin and Gabriela Silva, co-founders of Costasis Art Collective; Chien-Hwe, founder and director of 1ooo virtues dance; Iris Cutler of East Meets West Bookstore; Akili Jamal Haynes of World of Chibuzo; and Eduardo Restrepo Castaño.
