President Obama Draws Supporters and Detractors To Patrick Campaign Rally

BOSTON/Back Bay - Deval Patrick welcomed President Barack Obama at a rally on behalf of the Governor's reelection campaign Saturday. Recent polls suggest that incumbent Governor and Democrat Patrick and Republican challenger Charles Baker are in a tight race to win the November second election. Inside the Hynes Auditorium in Boston the President exhorted Democratic Party supporters to work diligently to win the election for Patrick in the last two weeks of the campaign. Outside supporters for and demonstrators against the federal administration's foreign and domestic policies exercised their free speech rights to extol or criticize the President.
